Students spent a week creating their own scratch art collage.Steps to create Scratch Art:
1. Use crayon to color construction paper - Make sure crayon is thick and no paper is showing through.
2. Make Black Paint mixture by using Black Tempra paint and adding a small amount of dish soap.
3. Paint over the crayon and let dry.
4. Meanwhile find an interesting Focal Point by clipping from magazines. (or using a self portrait)
5. Glue down collage with glue stick and use tooth picks or carving tools to scratch away black paint.
Students focused on Pattern and Movement.
